President / Acting Treasurer: Cecelia Swick  |

Cecelia Swick - President, Coastal Home Health and Hospice BoardCecelia worked in the Medical Field as management and support fo Clinicians and care centers for more than 35 years.  She retired from Sutter Medical Foundations in Sacramento CA and moved to Brookings in December 2014.  Cecelia worked as Secretary to the Original Board of Directors in the early phase of development of Sacramento Sierra Medical Group which later becasme the model for Sutter Medical Group.  She has further experience including Bookkeeping, clinician credentialing, contracting, acting as patient advocate, Electronic Medical Records applications and software applications such as EPIC, Allscripts, Kronos, Excel, and Outlook.  We are most excited to have Cecelia on the board!

Secretary: Ruth Daniels  |

Ruth is a retired RN who gives back to her community by serving as a volunteer with organizations including the Curry General Hospital Auxiliary (current President) and the California Nurses Association.  She worked with the Contra Costa A/N Home Support Services and the Public Health Board. Ruth also has her Masters in Business and Public Administration from JFK University in Concord CA..  She received her BSN from Holy Names in Oakland CA and her RN from Contra Costa College.  Ruth is a "big picture" person and a welcome addition to the board!

Director: Cam Lynn  |

Cam Lynn - Director - Coastal Home Health and HospiceCam moved to Brookings in 1973 after graduating from Washington State University with a degree in Environmental Science.   He retired from the City of Brookings in 2011 after having served for 31 years as an emergency service dispatcher.   Cam served for more than 20 years as a member of the Curry County Citizen Review Board, reviewing cases of children in out-of-home placements for the Oregon Department of Justice.

He has been a hospice patient volunteer since 2002. His commitment to hospice is further represented by serving on the Board of Directors for Coastal Home Health and Hospice.   He has been a member of Curry County Search and Rescue for many years.   He is currently on the board of directors for Curry Wildfire Prevention.  He likes to garden on his half acre of property near Brookings, ride his motorcycle, kayak, and hike.

Cam believes that patient care should be the primary focus of CHHH. Therefore, the board must work diligently to ensure our staff continue to have the tools they need in order to serve our patients.

Director: Thomas Long  |

Thom Long - Director - Coastal Home Health and Hospice BoardThom was born, raised and graduated from college in South Dakota and lived on the Oregon Coast since 1979. Thom had the pleasure of working and serving parents, patients, clients and families in a multitude of ways since then. As a licensed Medical Technologist, Thom has worked in varied medical laboratories for over 20 years, including current part time employment at Curry Health Network.

Thom has done social service work in both Coos and Curry counties for over 20 years. Agencies include Belloni Boy's Ranch--- working with teen sex offenders and law violators, South Coast Head Start---working with parents regarding drug and alcohol education/prevention, parenting and fathering and The Confederated Tribes of Coos, Lower Umpqua and Siuslaw Indians---as their Family Services and Indian Child Welfare Coordinator.

Thom has always had a passion for end of life services and enjoys serving on the board of Coastal Home Health and Hospice. Thom desires to bring a vision to CHHH that will ensure continued success, growth and innovation of services to the families of Southern Oregon and Northern California.

Executive Director: Jamie Daugherty  |

Jamie Daugherty - Executive Director - Coastal Home Health and Hospice BoardThe Board of Directors at Coastal Home Health and Hospice is proud to introduce Jamie Daugherty, RN, BSN as the new Executive Director for our agency.

After graduating from her Washington nursing school in 2004, Jamie began her nursing career working within hospital and home health settings.  Her many years of nursing experience helped to fuel a sincere passion for delivering quality home care services.  She is committed to working with local health providers to help adults remain in their homes for as long as possible.  

She recently settled in Brookings from Medford, Oregon with her husband and two young children.  Aside from our spectacular beaches, Jamie enjoys hobbies which include sewing, crochet, cooking and baking.  Her young family keeps her busy with sports and scouts.
